Director of Operations
Jon joined the Center for Independent Living of North Central Pennsylvania (CILNCP) in September 2003 as a fiscal assistant; he quickly proved himself and was promoted to Fiscal Manager in May 2004. As the agency began to grow in 2008 he was once again promoted, this time to the position of Director of Operations. Jon had the added responsibilities of assisting the Executive Director with the day to day management and monitoring of contracts for the programs and services, and management of all related Human Resources activities.
Jon has a degree in Business Administration and achieved the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional—SHRM-CP in 2015.
He primarily serves as the CILNCP’s Human Resource contact person and provides assistance with Hiring, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Classifying Employees, and Employment Law.
Jon helps make decisions about allocating resources by providing assurance about financial information and maintains an administrative responsibility to assist the Chief Executive Officer of the CILNCP with the day-to-day management and monitoring of finances and contracts for all CILNCP programs and services.
Even though I am not directly involved in the consumer’s daily support, it is very rewarding to know I am a small part of making a big difference in maintaining our consumer’s independence.
